Horsham Area Council for Voluntary Service (HACVS) is a charity with the aim to promote local voluntary action. Part of our role within the community is to facilitate training and awareness sessions for the many voluntary and community organisations from the Horsham District.
Apart from the fact that the Horsham Y Centre is a new, modern and welcoming venue, we have found its conference facilities are well equipped, offering a choice of different sized rooms. All staff and volunteers at the Y Centre are always so helpful and are happy to fulfil, when possible, the many requests we have. All areas of the centre are immaculately clean and it is fully accessible. The atrium makes the centre really light and airy.
As a charity working with voluntary organisations, we always have to keep the cost of venues in mind. The Y Centre have recognised this and offer affordable rates to the voluntary sector.
The only downside, may be the parking. However it is in the centre of town so the main car park attached to Swan Walk Shopping Centre is just across the road. In the evening there is street parking. The centre is very near to the bus station so the park and ride is an easy option and the railway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. There is a car park at the back on the centre with permit parking only, but is very useful for loading and unloading.

I have used the business conference facilities at the Y Centre in Horsham several times and can throroughly recommend them. The centre is well equipped with the latest multimedia equipment and the staff are friendly and extremely professional. The atmosphere is perfect for both formal and informal meetings and the cost is extremely reasonable for a town centre venue.
